For as long as I can remember, I have loved writing, editing, and correcting people's grammar! After graduating from college, I worked at Moore Data Management in Lisle, Illinois. I wrote documentation for the MLSNI system and taught realtors how to use the system. I then worked at American Pharmaceuticals in Naperville, Illinois. I wrote the manual on how to use the Pyxis machine, wrote the company's billing software manual, created an online help system for the billing software, and designed PowerPoint presentations for management.

In September 1997, I got married and moved back to Michigan. I started working at Frontier Communications/Global Crossing as a technical writer. I worked with network engineers to document network processes and procedures. I also created PowerPoint presentations for management.

In 2001, Global Crossing suffered an accounting scandal that eventually shuttered the company. At that time, I decided to stay home with my one year-old and my brand new baby.

I did not hold a full-time position while I was raising my sons, but I did work part-time teaching Microsoft classes for Adult Community Education, started a part-time resume and cover letter business, and taught at St. John Fenton.

In 2022, I started writing for Weaver Design. I write articles and stories for Henry Ford Health, the Mott Community College Foundation, and the YWCA. I am currently looking to expand my freelance business or start a new position that will put my writing, editing, and researching skills to work!

My varied background illustrates my aptitude to write to diverse audiences about varying topics. If I do not know about a subject matter, I research until I am knowledgeable.

I am at a point in my life where I can devote time to researching, writing, and editing. School and sporting events are behind me; this is my time to shine!
